Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen on Saturday unleashed terror in some communities in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State, killing eight people. Three mobile policemen attached to PMF 51, Oghara, have been reportedly abducted by suspected herdsmen in the Ohoror community of the East-West Road in the Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State. The victim, Godwin Emezue, of Abia State University, Uturu, was abducted from a petrol station at Umuekwule, Amachara, a community in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, south-east Nigeria. Gunmen, on Saturday, kidnapped Akeem Akintola, Oyo State Chairman, Tipper, Lorry and Quarry Park Management System (PMS). Akintola, popularly known as KUSO, was kidnapped at his residence in the Ajiboye area, Omi Apata, Ibadan. A source, who did not want his name published, said that the gunmen stormed Akintola’s residence in the early hours of Saturday and abducted him to an unknown destination.
