President Muhammadu Buhari has signed Nigerian Correctional Service Bill into law.

The Act repeals Nigerian Prisons Service Act.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Mr Ita Enang, disclosed this to State House correspondent in Abuja on Wednesday.

With the signing, Nigerian Prisons Service will now be called Nigerian Correctional Service.
