APC national chairman, deputy resign from Senate

Abdullahi Adamu has resigned as the Senator representing Nasarawa West in the 9th Senate. Abubakar Kyari has also relinquished his position as senator representing Borno North. The lawmakers announced their resignation in separate letters read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan during plenary on Tuesday. Until his election as APC national Chairman, Adamu chaired the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development.
