At least 10 persons, including security operatives, have been killed following an attack that involved the use of an explosive in Galadima Kogo community in Niger state. Reports have it that gunmen attacked the community and also planted a bomb in the area. There was disquiet in Enugu on Monday as the State Commissioner for Lands, Chidi Aroh, escaped death by the whiskers as gunmen attacked him and killed two police orderlies. At least, 18 people have been confirmed dead and several others injured after an attack by bandits in Kadaddaba in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State. The attack, which lasted from 10 p.m. on Friday to 4 a.m. on Saturday, was the first recorded in the village. Gunmen kill three police officers in Ebonyi

Gunmen have reportedly killed three police officers in Ebonyi State, Nigeria’s Southeast. The officers were gunned down on Monday night in front of a police station along the Enugu-Abakaliki highway, a source said. The officers were said to be manning a roadblock in front of the station when the gunmen opened fire on them.
