Terrorists kill three policemen, two vigilantes in fresh attack on Niger state community

Niger Police Command has confirmed the killing of three of its men and two local vigilantes in an ambush by gunmen in Kwanan Dutse, Mariga Local Government Area of the state. FG adds terrorism to charges against Nnamdi Kanu

The federal government has filed a fresh charge bordering on alleged terrorism against Nnamdi Kanu, leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Aloy Ejimakor, counsel to the IPOB leader, confirmed the development to on Monday. Kanu, who is standing trial on charges bordering on treasonable felony, is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS). Terrorists have slammed N24 million levies on nine communities in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State and demanded prompt payment or face assaults, reports said. Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have attacked the Police Mobile Force (PMF) training college in Limankara, Gwoza, Borno state. Five members of vigilante group have been feared killed by herdsmen in Arimojiga Community in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
