Gunmen invade Kaduna airport, kill one personnel on runway

Gunmen killed one person during an airport attack in the northern Nigerian state of Kaduna on Saturday afternoon, three sources working at the airport said, the latest in a series of attacks by gunmen in the north of the country. A ground crew and two airport officials said armed men entered the airport premises through a perimeter fence from a nearby forest and started shooting sporadically to scare workers. Two soldiers, 32 local residents killed in Southern Kaduna attacks

Kaduna State Government has said no fewer than 34 persons, including two soldiers, were killed in the Sunday night attack on Agban Kagoro in Kaura Local Government Area of the state by bandits. The state Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, who confirmed the incident on Tuesday, said four locations of Tsonje, Agban, Katanga and Kadarko, all within the Kagoro Chiefdom were attacked on Sunday night. 24 killed in fresh bandit attack in Zamfara

Marauding bandits have killed at least 24 people, including the village head and three other traditional title holders, in an early Sunday morning attack in Ganar Kiyawa, a village in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State. Bandits kill five, kidnap 22 in Kaduna communities

Bandits have killed five and kidnapped four others in Dogon Dawa, Layin Mahuta and Tabanni, in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State. EFCC arrests ex-gov Obiano at Lagos airport

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Thursday arrested former Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos. 63 members of local vigilante network killed in ambush by bandits in Kebbi

At least 63 vigilantes from five communities of Kebbi State have been confirmed dead after bandits ambushed them Sunday evening.
