Bandits have raided three communities – Azara, Jangala and Kadara – in Kagarko and Kachia LGAs of Kaduna State, abducting 37 residents in the last three days. Gunmen have attacked an office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Isu Local Government Area of Imo state, Nigeria’s southeast. Gunmen killed at least 38 villagers in Kaduna state, residents and a local community group said on Tuesday. Doyin Okupe, director-general of the Peter Obi presidential campaign council, has paid N13 million as fine for breaching the Money Laundering Act. Okupe was found guilty of 26 out of a 59-count charge preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
