Gunmen have kidnapped no fewer than nine residents from Grow Homes Estate along Kuchibiyi in the Kubuwa area of the Federal Capital Territory. Islamist militants have killed at least 25 people in an attack in a fishing town in Borno state, police and residents said on Thursday. Police commissioner Abdu Umar linked the attack in Dikwa to Boko Haram insurgents. He said a policeman was killed in a separate incident.
