Terrorists kill 50 farmers in renewed attacks on Niger state communities

At least 50 farmers have been reportedly killed by bandits in various communities in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State, while several others have fled their homes. The attacks occured between Wednesday and Saturday. In the latest attacks on about five villages which took place between 2pm on Friday and Saturday morning, an unspecified number of lives were lost and several others abducted including women and girls. FG accuses ExxonMobil of stealing petroleum products from terminal

Nigeria's downstream oil regulator has alleged ExxonMobil Corp was involved in the illegal lifting of petroleum products from an offshore terminal, according to a letter of complaint to the petroleum ministry seen by Reuters. No fewer than nine farmers were killed by bandits at Unguwar Danko near Dogon Dawa village in Birnin Gwari Area of Kaduna State. Police confirm 87 killed, 39 injured in Plateau massacre

After stalling for days, Plateau state Police Command on Friday said 87 people were killed in Tuesday’s attack on villages in the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
