11 Nigerians, all belonging to one ethnic group, charged for fraud totaling $9m by US govt

The United States Department of Justice has arraigned 11 Nigerians on charges of conspiracy to commit money laundering, conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft put at over $9 million. According to a statement issued by the US DOJ on the indictment, the Nigerians, allegedly, were involved in laundering millions of Dollars in proceeds derived from business email compromises and romance fraud schemes. Bandits kill soldiers, abduct motorists in Zamfara

Some soldiers were feared killed Wednesday as they tried to repel an attack by bandits on travellers in Zamfara State. Gunmen attack Bayelsa police station, kill officer, take away guns
