Gunmen kill three policemen in Anambra

Three policemen on duty in Onitsha, Anambra State, were on Sunday killed by gunmen. The incident, it was gathered, happened around 9 am on the Ukaegbu/Ezeiweka road in Onitsha. Heavily armed gunmen raided a jail in Kogi state late on Sunday, blowing up the perimeter fence and freeing 266 inmates - almost everyone in the prison, authorities said.
