Bandits invaded Nigerian Defence Academy, killed two military officers and abducted another. This is how it happened

Personnel monitoring closed-circuit television (CCTV) at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) were reportedly asleep when bandits attacked the premises on Tuesday. Despite heavy security escort, bandits attack convoy of travellers in Zamfara

Armed bandits on Tuesday attacked a team of security officials escorting travellers from Gusau, the state capital to Dansadau, in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State. Six out of 136 abducted students from Islamic school in Niger state are dead - Official

Six of the 136 students kidnapped from an Islamic school in Niger state have died of illness, the school principal told Reuters on Monday. The abductors have demanded a ransom to release the students, kidnapped in May after an armed gang on motorcycles attacked the school in the town of Tegina. Bandits kill 4, abduct 50 others in Zamfara community - Police

Gunmen killed four people and abducted 50 others in Goran Namaye town in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara, police in the state confirmed on Monday. Twelve persons have been killed by bandits who stormed Duba village, Batsari LGA of Katsina State. The bandits numbering over 300 were said to have attacked the community at about 8;45pm on Saturday.
