Abductors of Muhammed Sanni Idris, Niger state commissioner for information, have demanded N500 million in ransom. The commissioner was abducted from Baban Tunga, his hometown in Tafa Local Government Area of the state in the early hours of Monday. Bandits kidnap APC chief in Niger state

Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Zone ‘C’, Aminu Bobi, has been reportedly kidnapped by gunmen in Mariga local government area of Niger state. It was gathered that Bobi was abducted Saturday evening while he was on his farm supervising farmhands working for him. At least two people were killed when hoodlums blocked Gada-Biyu Highway in Jos, Plateau State capital, Tuesday night.
