Nigeria losing 200,000 bpd to pipeline vandalism - FG

Nigeria is losing an average of 200,000 barrels of oil per day - more than 10% of its production - to pipeline vandalism, the country’s information minister said on Monday. Nigeria relies on oil exports for more than half its budget and 95% of foreign exchange. Armed bandits have abducted babies, nurses and security guards from the residential quarters of the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Centre (NTLC) in Zaria, Kaduna State. The police command in Akwa Ibom has confirmed Saturday’s attack on its Udung Uko Divisional Police Headquarters by gunmen. Bandits abduct 13 women going for wedding ceremony on Kaduna highway

Bandits have abducted 13 women between Manini and Udawa town along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway, on their way to a wedding ceremony.
